A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Where Will This Summer Take You?

Marrianne Wilson President & CEO, CAA Niagara
Summer often means travel — time away with family, a change of scenery or finally taking the vacation you’ve been thinking about for a while.
As someone who enjoys travelling myself, I know how much easier the experience is when the planning feels straightforward and well thought through. Travel today comes with more choices and considerations than ever, and having clear, reliable support can make a real difference.
At CAA Niagara, our role is simple: to help Members feel prepared and supported at every stage of their trip.
Our Travel Consultants work with Members to plan leisure trips that fit their needs, including group tours through Journeys by CAA Niagara, where itineraries are thoughtfully designed and details are handled from start to finish.
Niagara Airbus supports that journey as well, providing reliable airport transportation that helps remove some of the stress that can come with travel days.
Across everything we do, the focus is practical and member-focused: helping people make informed decisions, feel confident in their plans and enjoy the time away they’ve worked hard for.
Wherever this summer takes you, I hope it brings rest, discovery and time well spent. Safe travels,

A MESSAGE FROM THE BOARD CHAIR
We All Share The Road

Bill Kerr Chair of the Board, CAA Niagara
Summer brings some of the busiest days of the year on Niagara’s roads. With more vehicles, cyclists, motorcyclists, farm vehicles and pedestrians all moving through our communities, road safety becomes more important than ever.
At CAA Niagara, advocating for safer roads is a core part of our responsibility to our Members and the communities we serve. We are there when people need help, but we are also committed to helping prevent those moments of danger in the first place by encouraging safer habits and greater awareness on our roads.
Road safety is not only about drivers; it’s about every person trying to get where they need to go safely. Whether you are approaching a crosswalk, passing a cyclist, encountering a motorcycle or slowing down behind a farm vehicle, each interaction is a reminder that we all have a role to play in protecting one another.
That responsibility is especially important when it comes to those working on our roads. Tow truck drivers, emergency responders and roadside crews often do their jobs just feet from fast-moving traffic, in conditions that can be unpredictable. When you see flashing lights at the side of the road, it is more than a signal to use caution; it is a moment to recognize that someone’s safety depends on the decisions you make behind the wheel.
That is why Slow Down, Move Over remains such an important message. It is one of the simplest actions drivers can take, and one that can have a meaningful impact. Slowing down and moving over safely helps protect the people who are there to help the rest of us.
As we move through one of the busiest seasons on our roads, I encourage every road user to take an extra moment to be patient, stay alert and make safety a priority. At the heart of CAA Niagara’s advocacy work is a simple belief: everyone deserves to arrive safely. That is a responsibility we carry on behalf of our Members every day.
Thank you for being part of a community that looks out for one another.
