A LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT

A Time to Give

Marrianne Wilson-Headshot

AS WINTER SETTLES OVER NIAGARA, the season reminds me of the warmth that comes from giving and the strength of a community united in purpose. With over 160,000 Members across the region, CAA Niagara is more than an organization; we are a movement of generosity, compassion and connection, driven by a shared commitment to enrich lives, strengthen communities and make a meaningful difference across Niagara every single day.

This year, our employees — like-minded individuals who give of their hearts and time — have volunteered across countless local charities, food banks and youth programs. Their efforts reflect the values we all share, and they are honoured to represent our Members in extending kindness and support where it’s needed most.

Personally, I enjoy volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters Niagara and donating plasma at the clinic in St. Catharines with my peers at CAA. It’s a simple way to give back, and it reminds me how meaningful it is when people come together to support their community.

We invite you to join us in this spirit of giving. Whether it’s volunteering, donating or supporting local causes, your involvement helps build a stronger Niagara.

And as many of you travel to reunite with loved ones this season, we’re proud to be your trusted travel partner, ensuring your journey is safe, seamless, and filled with memorable moments.

Please keep an eye out for our roadside heroes and remember to Slow Down, Move Over. These dedicated team members respond when help is needed most, and your care ensures they, too, can return home and enjoy the holidays with their families.

As we head into 2026, I extend my deepest thanks for your continued support. Together, we’ve proven that when people come together with purpose, incredible things happen.

Wishing you a joyful holiday season and a bright 2026. CAA

A Message from CAA

A LETTER FROM THE BOARD CHAIR

A Time of Reflection

AS 2025 DRAWS TO A CLOSE, I want to take a moment to reflect on what has been an extraordinary year for CAA Niagara. It has been a year of change, growth and achievement — all made possible through your trust and support as Members.

One of the Board’s most important responsibilities is ensuring strong leadership for the Club, and in 2025, that responsibility was fulfilled with the appointment of our new President and CEO. After a rigorous process led by Board members Kathy Uher, Kristine Clark and Bill Kerr, with more than 200 applicants considered, the Board was proud to unanimously appoint Marrianne Wilson as the successful candidate. She is a most deserving leader, and has already hit the ground running with passion and vision for the future of CAA Niagara.

I also want to extend my sincere gratitude to Bill Kerr, who stepped away from his Board duties earlier this year to serve as interim President and CEO during Peter Van Hezewyk’s absence. Bill’s leadership brought both stability and progress at a critical time, including a renewed focus on financial budgeting and forecasting, and oversight of important improvements in our Roadside Assistance operations. On behalf of the entire Board, thank you, Bill, for guiding the organization through a challenging period with such dedication.

Beyond leadership transitions, 2025 has been a landmark year in other ways. We proudly rolled out our refreshed CAA Niagara brand, along with the integration of NAB and AAPEX under the CAA Niagara umbrella — ensuring a stronger, more unified identity for the future. We also updated our Strategic Plan to reflect these exciting changes, continued our $1M Feed Niagara pledge and celebrated the inspiring achievements of this year’s Community Boost recipients — Habitat for Humanity Niagara and Autism Ontario South Region.

As this is my final letter as Chair of the Board, I want to share what a privilege it has been to serve you, our Members, over the past three years. It has been an honour to work alongside such dedicated fellow Directors, passionate employees and an engaged Membership community. Together, we have navigated change, celebrated successes and laid the foundation for an even brighter future.

Thank you for entrusting me with this role. I step into my new position as Past Chair with immense pride in what we’ve accomplished and excitement for what lies ahead under Marrianne’s leadership.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, I wish you and your loved ones a safe, wonderful holiday season and a prosperous New Year. CAA
