A LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT
Connected Journeys
Starting strong with confidence on the road.

Spring in Niagara brings a sense of new beginnings. It’s a season of milestones, and for many families, one of the biggest is watching a young person take their first steps toward becoming a confident driver. That moment of independence is exciting, a bit nerve‑wracking and incredibly meaningful. It represents possibility, responsibility and the start of a new chapter.
That’s why AAPEX Driving Academy has become such an important part of our CAA Niagara family. AAPEX is more than lessons and road tests — it’s a foundation. It helps new drivers develop the skills, judgment and confidence they need to navigate the road safely and independently, while understanding their role as part of a wider community of drivers, cyclists and pedestrians. Behind every lesson is a dedicated team that cares deeply about shaping capable, responsible drivers who will keep our community safe.
What inspires me most about AAPEX is the ripple effect it creates. When a new driver learns to make good decisions on the road, we all benefit. Families feel more at ease. Young people gain confidence that carries into other parts of their lives. And our community becomes a safer, more connected place to live and travel.
As we move into the spring season with its brighter days, busier roads and renewed energy, I’m proud that AAPEX is helping so many Niagara residents begin their driving journey with skill and confidence.
Thank you for trusting CAA Niagara to support the moments that matter. Here’s to safe roads, confident new drivers and a spring full of positive momentum for our community. CAA

A LETTER FROM THE BOARD CHAIR
Passing of the Torch
It is a privilege to introduce myself as the new Chair of the Board of Directors for CAA Niagara. It’s an honour to serve an organization that Members rely on every day, and one I’ve been proud to support as a Board member for several years. I would also like to recognize the leadership and dedication of my predecessor, Mike Goodale, whose guidance and commitment helped position CAA Niagara for continued strength and success. The Board remains deeply appreciative of that service, and we build on that foundation with care and respect. As Chair, my focus, and the Board’s, is simple: to provide strong governance and long-term direction for CAA Niagara, with accountability, and to continue to deliver clear, meaningful value for Members today and into the future. While much of the Board’s work happens behind the scenes, it has a real impact on the experience Members have every day. That means keeping services dependable, ensuring your Membership remains valued, and evolving thoughtfully as needs and expectations change. I’ve served on the CAA Niagara Board since 2018, including as Chair of the Governance Committee and the Human Resources & Executive Compensation Committee. My professional background includes leading customer operations and service delivery at a national scale with Canadian Tire Financial Services (CTFS). This included overseeing roadside assistance for millions of drivers across Canada. I later founded and became a partner in one of Canada’s leading sales-intercept companies. These are experiences which reinforced the importance of resilience, accountability and staying focused on results. Together, those experiences have shaped a practical approach to leadership — one that places service excellence at the centre and ensures strategy is always tied to what it means for Members. In real terms, that means protecting affordability, delivering unwavering support when you need it and keeping CAA Niagara relevant as the world around us continues to change. Looking ahead, the Board will continue working closely with our CEO and leadership team to guide CAA Niagara with purpose and care. As change continues, our commitment remains steady: keeping Members at the centre of decisions and moving Niagara forward every single day. Thank you for being part of the CAA Niagara community. It is a privilege to serve you, and I look forward to the work ahead. CAA
